Carmen Alexandra Charles is the co-founder,
Senior Managing Partner, and Chief Marketing Officer for The Baby Basket
Boutique, LLC. Ms. Charles plays a key role in executing the marketing
strategy established by our advisory team. She has broad experience in
project management, budgeting, copywriting, advertising, marketing, public
relations, and film/video production.
Ms. Charles is responsible for spearheading
marketing initiatives at The Baby Basket Boutique, including product
marketing, corporate branding and positioning, marketing communications,
corporate communications, and our overall market strategy.
Ms. Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in
English from Florida International University, a Master of Fine Arts in
Film/Video Production & Distribution from Howard University, and an MBA in
Marketing from Southeastern University.
Laurent Pierre, Jr.

Operating Officer
Laurent Pierre, Jr. is the
co-founder, Senior Managing Partner, and Chief Operating Officer of The
Baby Basket Boutique, LLC.
Mr. Pierre ventured into the information technology arena and has held key
positions in Washington, DC at: The World Bank Group, National
Distributing Company, ACS Desktop (now Lockheed IT), Capitol Hill (US
Senate & House offices), and the US Peace Corps headquarters.
Mr. Pierre's diverse background includes
financial analysis and management, business management, information
systems management & integration, client relationship management,
technical support & training, and managing web infrastructure development.
He is responsible for building and maintaining
The Baby Basket Boutique's customer relationships, partner relationships,
overseeing corporate development, company operations, strategic
investment, and pursuing new market and service opportunities.
Mr. Pierre holds a Bachelor of Business
Administration in International Business from Howard University, and
earned two MBAs in Financial Management and Management from Southeastern
University.
C. Leopold Charles
Vice-President of Information Technology
C. Leopold Charles
is the Vice-President of Technology for The Baby Basket Boutique, LLC.
He brings a wealth of information technology experience in the areas of
relational database development, messaging technologies,
systems administration and integration, and network management experience.
Mr. Charles
is responsible for driving The Baby Baby Basket Boutique's technology
vision, directing all internal development efforts and the development
team, working with the sales force on strategic customer relationships,
and supporting corporate initiatives.
He holds a Bachelor in
Computer Science from Florida International University and an MBA
from St. Thomas University.
